Re: 1/6 T-34/85 track links

I came late to this thread regarding tracks. You know gents setting up a simple foundry to cast your 1/6 tracks would be a great club project. I don't know how it over your way getting the essentials of foundry work, refractory to build the furnace body, petrobond_like molding sand, crucibles, tongs...

Re: Sonderfahrzeug Modellbau Peter Müller

Oh man. Thanks for the update Mark but I'm sorry for my friend then who ordered and paid in full for a model from Müller. My friend has some followup to do based on what you said; he does not speak German so it will be difficult. You know it never used to be this way, you could order and pay for som...

Sonderfahrzeug Modellbau Peter Müller

Hello all, any members here have recent business with Peter Müller? I have had none myself. A friend here in the colonies has ordered a model from him about 5-6 months ago and after the initial acknowledgement from Hr Müller of payment received there has been no further communication. In my experien...

Sorry I'm just seeing this thread now...

Jürgen is good, a tad slow - meaning he's got his hands full. He's been working on some parts for my Kaelble
and turret/misc parts for a 1:10 Tiger I....

Re: BattleTrax 1/10 scale Tanks

I'll Second what Rivetcounter said about 1/10 scale- it's far from new. In Germany and in Japan to a lesser extent it has been used for RC armor for quite some time. Like I said over in RCU when Bandai and Tamiya were releasing their first 1/15 and 1/16 models 1/10 armor had already been around a wh...

Re: Panther 75mm Pz.gr 39 KwK42

Mark has anyone documented the dimensions of the various casing and projectiles for the
various German rounds? 7.5cm KwK 42 L/70 8.8cm KwK 36 L/56 and 8.8cm KwK 43 L/71
in particular.

Also aren't the driving bands copper, or did materials shortages dictate other metals?

Re: TERRIBLE NEWS

Very sorry to hear of this. Stuart was one of the fellows I'd hoped to meet when I eventually found my way 'over there' one of these years.... Never having met the fellow nonetheless we traded a few enjoyable notes over the years. My condolences to his family and friends and too the whole of the UKT...

I guess it's just me but I can't view any of the photos or videos. All I see is "Sorry the person moved or deleted image".

What ever became of this model? Obviously I don't have it but whose collection does it grace?

Re: Could anyone give some help and advice re a model tank

If it is 1/10 scale I certainly would be interested, 1/10th scale being my primary scale of interest and the focus of my collection. The fact that you know and have the history of the model makes it very special indeed. If it is still undecided as to whose collection it will grace please contact me ...

I remember seeing one of those Toyota Prius thingies running on lectric only and it was dead quiet! Perhaps you could choose your sound sample or upload your own? Now that's be cool  Humpy We call Toyota Prius cheese wedges over here. I think if I had to pick a sound for an electric car I'd wa...
