1/4 scale animatronic Commander figure?

I haven't been on here for some time, I hope everyone's well. :) Mods if this is seen as advertising please delete. Can I ask, is there a need for animatronic figures in 1/4 scale, I already have the kits and can sculpt and produce the head and clothing? Apart from my 1/6th scale animatronic kits I'...

Re: Cheap as chips Servo Control Board

Hi Paul, OK, below is a list of the servos we used for the last figure. They all seem to work very well though we did have a little interference due to proximity, this was easily fixed with some ferrite rings on the leads. 1x 3.7g DYSO201 micro (neck up/down) - £3.19 each 1x CS-929MG metal gear )nec...

Re: Cheap as chips Servo Control Board

Sorry to hear that Paul, I hope all is well now.
Me and Elaine do quite a few bike rallies and the amount of people hobbling around on sticks or because they're full of metal is worrying!

I'm just trying some different servos in a figure at the moment, I'll let you know the outcome.

Re: Cheap as chips Servo Control Board

Forgot to mention Paul... if you are re-jigging your commander and was looking to upgrade the servos then things have moved on a little in the last few years. You've more than likely heard of Hobby City in China, or Hobby King as they now like to be called, but did you realise that there is a compan...

Yes I still get emails and calls for the resin kits, in fact I'm doing some for a guy in Hong Kong at the moment. I now have a guy who builds the figures to any stage, he's a friend who has been ...
