Hi All
Rivet is correct. We are moving to a new hosting service at the moment. It does take a day or two, and it means that Gill is not getting your e-mail messages at the moment so phone us for anything urgent: 01404 892956

Re: UKTC Summer BBQ
Thanks to Mark (1 ) for an excellent day. As Mark (rivet) said it was really good to be there with Mark (1) and Dave from Armorpax, all supporting the hobby. Mark(W) and I had a really good time. Only problem I can see is there are too many Mark's!

Re: Spectrum DX7
Garry I think you are missing the point. The new 2.4ghz systems, be they spectrum, futaba or whoever, remove the need for discipline. Your reciever is encoded to your transmitter. It will only respond to your transmitter even if there were two guys attempting to use the same frequency either intenti...

Re: Armortek 222
Hi all For info: The production 222's have softer suspension than the prototype, we changed it after off road trials, and the improvement is substantial. The steering ratio that we have adopted is 2:1. So the front wheels turn twice as much as the rears. It is done like like that, as a best estimate...

Re: Amp Hours
James Watts=Power but does not equal work done Power is work done/time taken ie rate of doing work. If you go for 12volt motors they will draw more current to give you the same power because Watts=Volts x Amps If you go for 24volts they will draw less current. Both voltages can give you the power yo...

Re: Armortek and the BBC
Thank you Stuart and Brett We have had an incredible response as a result of the programme from people who had no idea these models existed or that it is such a growing hobby. Everything happened very quickly as we were only asked about the visit less than 24 hours before the filming so we had littl...

Re: The Great GRP vs Metal Debate!
Hello All It would be difficult to put it better than Dave has. I must admit, I was thinking of posting something similar. It is a small hobby compared to so many others, and we are lucky to have the best of it here in the UK, with three top class suppliers and the best organised national club. We s...

Re: The Great GRP vs Metal Debate!
We also totally agree with Stuart. We truly believe that there is place in the hobby and the marketplace for GRP, Metal and a combination of both. Neither is right or wrong just different. We all live in a world full of differences how boring it would be if it was all the same. We are fortunate that...
