Re: Wiper Motors

you could also try motors from washing machines as alot of combat robot builders use these because they are quite powerfull.

Re: Spectrum DX7

yes i agree this is quite complicated. on the 2.4 ghz band channels 1-13 are already reserved for WIFI pc networks.

so that leaves 66 channels to be shared between cars, boats, planes, helicopters and tanks.

at a big event all these channels will fill up very quickly.

r/c switches

hi

does anyone know where i can get a switch interface thing that plugs into a channel and turn it into 2 switches (eg. push stick up turns num1 on, center off, push stck down turns num2 on)

im after one of these so i can have 5 functions from a 4ch radio setup.

thanks

Re: Heng Long? and a gearchange

the motors are 380's in both versions of the gearbox, but they can be replaced with 400's as they are the same size. a source good 400 motors is http://www.overlander.co.uk

you could reinforce the HL chassis by adding bulkheads accross it.

im not too sure on the other aspects.

Re: Spektrum DX6 evaluation

also with the upgrade i came across you will be able to get 5 hours + of runtime with the DX6.

its rather silly that they use a poor quality regulator in a decent transmitter.

kyosho 1:16 amoured vehicle

i was looking at the kyosho site and found this
http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/d ... _id=100259

using the chassis from this we could make alot of the wheeled afv's that are missing from alot of collections.
