Re: 1/6 T-34/85 track links

This is something the 3D printing agencies could get behind, as they could be printed on demand, rather than having to have 1000s cast to get the price down and then having them sat on a shelf somewhere. They're even getting pretty good at printing metal parts, so usable links would be a possibility...

Spooner drive system

I'm currently renovating Kieren's Churchill and am having trouble working out how to get the main drive gears off the Parvalux motor shafts. The gears are spinning by about 45 degrees when put under load, which makes driving the tank difficult. There looks like there is a roll pin through the gear s...

Vantex / Fuyuan Sherman gearbox wanted

I'm looking for a redundant Vantex / Fuyuan gearbox from a Sherman. I want to rebuild mine using a custom stainless steel enclosure to reduce the vibrations and would like a duff one to use as a template. I'm hoping a decent gearbox should reduce the vibrations and and resultant noise.

FS: Dragon Nebelwerfer

Anyone fancy a Nebelwefer ? Just found one in the loft that I bought in 2006!! Pictures are on Facebook, as this forum seems to lie about the maximum picture size it will allow :-( Asking price is £75. Postage works out around £10 which ever service I choose. If paying by bank transfer, total would ...

Re: sound boards

Personally, I feel the sound boards like the Tamiya used in 1/16th tanks tend to sound quite toy like, with a noticeable repeat on the engine sounds. I like the Benedini TBS Mini. It runs off 5V to 12V, and can be programmed with Thomas's software, so can be made to do pretty much anything. There's ...

Sorry, it's not my manual, I just remember the guys on that forum were keeping a repository of scanned manuals.

The picture is too big. It's 1024 pixels wide but the forum only allows images which are a maximum of 800 pixels wide.

Re: CRARRV Build Update

> Interesting, is that something your willing to sell Adrian Certainly. There are about a hundred out there since I started making them. They're £49 + P&P & Paypal, which comes to £56 all in for the UK. I'll have a bunch with me at TankMod on Saturday. I'll be with the Armortek crew. What are you us...

Re: CRARRV Build Update

I sell a little module which links the fan to the Benedini smoker output, so whenever the "engine" is running, the fan is spinning, and it's linked to the engine speed, so as the engine speeds up, the fan speeds up. Video of it in operation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v002RSXdV2M Adrian.

Re: CRARRV Build Update

> Have you thought of running 'sound' separate from motor control ? I'm doing that on my T-34 and BARV. Single stick driving on the RH stick and the Benedini PWM input attached to the LH stick. Means you can rev the engine before mounting an obstacle, or creep along at idle without revving the engin...
