Re: 1/6 Panther G LATE Sd.Kfz. 171 1:6 metal r/c RTR custom made

Hi..... These look like excellent...well made models, but the price....whatever the specification.......is highly prohibitive....and for the reason commonly cited in the programme "Dragon's Den".....I am well and truly OUT !! My apologies for this somewhat negative comment, but Isimply cannot see an...

Re: 2.4ghz Compatibility

Hi John I have a Gravel Hound chassis for my Kubelwagen, which has the same TEU-101BK ESC, and it works fine with a Futabe 6EX 2.4 Ghz setup. I can't think of any reason why 2.4 Ghz wouldn't work :?: I know there is an issue with some of Futabas 12 and 14 channel recievers not working with older se...

2.4ghz Compatibility

Hi everyone... I am in the throes of rc'ing another 1/6 Kubelwagen, but this time I wish to add a 2.4ghz transmission. I have butchered another Tamiya 1/10 "rising storm" and intend to use the standard 540 brush motor that comes standard with the car. My question is that I understand that the Tamiya...

Re: 40 MhZ to 2.4 GhZ

Hi John, your TX will hold upto 8 models, so all you need to do is buy 2 more RX then bind each one to your TX then programe the TX to each one, it does sound hard , but really it is not , you manual will have in it all about binding and renaming the model. if you have a good R/C shop near you , th...

40 MhZ to 2.4 GhZ

Hi everyone I'm considering changing my 1/6 Kubelwagen and Motorbike/sidecar from 40Mhz to 2.4Ghz to prevent interference and servo wiggle ( not sure that this is the technical term ! ) Is it a straight case of changing the transmitted and receiver to a new 2.4Ghz set up ?....i.e no need to ch...

Re: Mark 1 Tiger - Defunct ?

John, Crikey, now you're asking! A Benedini set up at the moment is around the £300 mark if you have Thomas's amplifier and encoder, cheaper if you have some alternatives but very possibly more hassle unless you a; know what you're doing or b; get someone else to do it for you! The 4QD Vortex 40's ...

Re: Mark 1 Tiger - Defunct ?

Hi Humpy

Just a thought....what would the price be for 4QD and Benedini sounds, and probably more importantly, how difficult would it be to change my current set up to Benedini stuff ?.

Best wishes

Mark 1 Tiger - Defunct ?

Hi everyone... Oh dear.......having not started my Mark 1 - Tiger for a few weeks I was dismayed when I tried to take it for a run yesterday, and found out that despite both the transmitter batery and main tank battery being fully charged, the notor would not turn over. All I could hear was a bit of...
