Re: 1/5 Chieftain the enigma continues

This might not be of much help, but I live a mile or so down the road from the location on the developer stamp and am pretty sure it would be Filton House, apposed to Fulton. Filton is still the current home in Bristol of the MOD, Airbus, GKN and Rolls-Royce, neighbouring the old Filton runway that ...

Re: T-34 Track Links

Another bit needed -

Would anybody have a wheel assembly for a T-34, just the 2 wheel parts either on or off an axle, no torsion bar needed, and can be resin or metal?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as always! :D :D

Cheers, Mike H

T-34 Track Links

Long time without a post, T-34 scratchbuild is still ongoing slowly but surely!

I require a few tracks links, a couple male and a couple female.
If anyone has any either resin or metal give me a shout and we'll sort something out! :D

Cheers, Mike H.

Re: Tankzone All Metal

Kevin, Never think anything like scratch building is beyond your capabilities! Im only 17 and im currently scratch building a T-34 and have been for 2 years, having had to start it over twice as well! I had zero knowledge of scratchbuilding tanks, zero knowledge on the electronics side, but theres a...

Re: Transmitters, Servos etc...

Cheers for all the responses, very much appreciated. Still thinking about which method would be the best for the turret. Obviously with scratch building you never know how much the final product will end up weighing, and the last thing i want to do is invest in something that wont do the job. Ahhhh ...

Re: Transmitters, Servos etc...

Cheers for the reply Jd, thats a great help.

Another little query, at the moment i have 2 throttle leads coming from my ESC's, would it be possible to attach them both to a Y lead and use just the one channel to control both tracks throttle off the one stick?

Cheers, Mike H :)

Transmitters, Servos etc...

Hi all, As you may know i am a complete rookie with RC electronics. Now having got the main parts for my T-34, motors, batteries ect, i need to start thinking about a transmitter and other little servos. Number 1: Is there any transmitters on the market 6 channel which would have a 2 way toggle swit...

Re: T-34 Scratchbuild - Take 2!

Easter holidays have come and gone and i managed to get a couple more days in the workshop. Now the torsion bars had been complete, i just had to figure out a way of attaching them to the chassis. As these parts would get a lot of wear and tear i decided it needs to be easily removable, and came up ...

Re: T-34 Scratchbuild - Take 2!

Hi all, Over the half term ive managed to get a bit more work done either side of a lovely holiday in Paris! Now the main hull shape was done, i needed to start thinking about the suspension and torsion bars. I came up with some drawings a little while back, but was yet to decide on whether or not t...

Russian Figures

Hi all, On the lookout for some 1/6 Russian figures. If anyone has any for sale, clothed or nude, i will more than likely be interested. Or, if anybody has any good online retailers in the UK that would be of great help. Unfortunately a lot of the links on the Useful Information section have either ...
