Re: Replacing smoke unit on a Taigen 1/16

Surely removing the screws will result in less damage to the model, and even if you drill them out you will still have to disconnect the fragile connections ? I'm not au fait with the model, but unscrewing is normally easier than drilling out hardened screws . Best of luck either way, as for choosin...

Re: Newbie from Glos

That is probably the best known tank model in Britain. Nice one Spartan.
Of all the german tanks built, that is the only one I have an interest in.
I'm sure it will serve you well.

Re: CRARRV Build Update

I enjoyed the basic build, the easy bit, but I'm really glad that someone with the necessary skills and patience is doing the hard bit ! Nice one Andy. I am constantly amazed at the levels that you, possum, bulldog, ...

Re: CRARRV Build Update

Good to see you back on it Andy, Going back a few (?) posts . . . . . . Have you thought of running 'sound' separate from motor control ? Yes I know it's another channel needed, but would sound a lot more realistic to be able to rev up ( with independent smoke control as well) and simulate gear chan...

Re: Challenger 2

Certainly Andy, but we are probably a couple of months away from completion of a second set. . . . . He is downsizing to being a one man band, lots of equiptment to move, etc. but he is keen and the lathe and mill are set up for them.
