Re: Just how big is 1/4 scale!

Nice videos. Liked the tank transporter, swimming APC and submarine T34. Good waterproofing.
I note Dirk is a Phil Collins fan.

From the Tanks of WW2 Forum. You can click on any of the pictures in a number of the posts. Good views of Russian re-enactors and their vehicles. Interesting to compare with the latest pics on Vince's gallery.

Built to last Challies...

I have read that it is intended that the Challenger 2 will remain in service for another 30 years, and that it is to get the Rheinmetall L/55 120mm smoothbore to improve interoperability with other Western MBTs. If correct, this is no doubt a compliment to the design, but also perhaps reveals plenty...

No underestimating the ambition and capabilities of the pyro crowd Peter. I did say I'd be surprised if Tulips hadn't been considered. :o Your order a coincidence? Hmm. I'm not sure whether a scale Calliope or Tulip version would be more spectacular and have a greater range. I'm sure either would be...

Re: Whens The Next Meeting?

Spot on! Give that man a prize! Code name Tulips. Canadians apparently thought of it first, but it was put into practice by Coldstream Guards of Guards' Armoured Brigade. WingCo of a Tiffy Squadron gave them rockets and wing rails. They welded the rails to he turret sides, one above the other. Consi...

Re: Whens The Next Meeting?

Hi Clive, An interesting guess but you don't win the coconut. Do you know something of my T34's new crewman: Jerry? Hi Rob, I'm afraid clumsy handling exiting the shed inflicted more battle damage. Even clumsier repair blew a chip. The Easton tank surgeon carried out emergency open heart surgery and...

"BUT its Bovington so most of us will be guests of Mr Spencer in Dorset" I believe Bovington is still in Dorset Dave and we are going as Marks guests   Then I am well out of the loop. My humble apologies for casting aspersions on your navigational abilities. Herewith I volunteer for the...

So Rob, is Mark on the move, is it a typo, are you drawing fire off Shermie, or is geography really not your strong point? All those drought hit, arid wastelands south of Watford Gap are pretty similar I guess...

Excellent pictures, photos and videos of German AFVs. I haven't worked out how to get a translation but the pictures are worth a visit alone.
