Electric is simpler and you can get good sound and smoke generators now days. Biggest problem is that when doing indoor shows, petrol is a forbidden. Cost is probably the last reason.

I was not going to reply but I also handed out some bits that I have made on the 30th, all for the princely sum of a beer. I probably won't see that until Beltring next year , and I'm not knocking, but if Mark wants a cut , he's welcome but get your own glass  Like Bryan, if I do anything for a...

T34 and T55 in metal would be interesting doing the turret. !/4 scale is still very big what ever way you cut it . An M5 Stuart in 1/6th is considerably smaller than a tiger so that might be an option in 1/4. There no way I could deal with anything that big and if I could I'd want to drive it myelf,...

Just to re-enforce what Humpy said, I quickly worked out the diffence in hull lenght for a Tiger 1, full size is 20 feet 8 1/2 inches long excluding the barrel. At 16th that is 41 and a tad inches long and at 1/4 that becomes a massive 62 inches , thats almost 2 feet longer  I've got a 1/16th...

You really are a clever dickie aren't you Mel. It is indeed Anton Diffring from the film Where Eagles Dare, the part he is playing is Colonel Kramer. It's a long silly story, but I have an SS Standartenfuhuer's uniform very similar to the one he's wearing, the full monty boots and all, only Panzer. ...

RC Cam system

Can't answer questions on the armortek forum but I know Paul Cundy uses this one too so here you go. My MK 1 Tiger has the 2 camera system fitted. One camera in the commands Coppola and one inside in the drivers position. The system works quite well, sorry no samples. I mounted the tx unit in the to...

Nigel, It's fairly obvious where the fair is, you have 2 choices when you get there, either park the car as near as possible , unload and then put it in the car park or park and unload in the car park, but it is a stoney car park so you need to be careful. Parking inside is normally reserved for the...
