Re: TANK LIFT FOR SALE

Robin,

Can't slide it under but if I put it in a recess in the table to take it, loads of room. I was thinking of it more for winter maintenance and taking the weight off the tracks. So that will be perfect. If you take it to Duxford, I'll releave you of it for some money.

Re: Big Panther Latest

Pretty much the same here only I don't have the space of a 1/4 panther, so addtional batteries for 12v would be pretty tight if at all possible. The Turret is a different story as I don't need a lot of power in there so it is possible to squeeze smaller batteries in.

Re: TANK LIFT FOR SALE

Thinking of of it primarily for the tiger and the Pz III. If it fits under them without fouling the wheels and tracks, your on!!

I'll have a measure up when I get home and let you know.

Re: RAF HONNINGTON

Glen,

Under normal circumstances I would be there, but I fly out to Italy the previous day, so I cannot attend.

Re: Tiger 1

Bob, Depends, but in theory yes it would have feifels if it is an early tiger. The very early ones didn't, and right towards the end of the early production as they switched to mid, you can find examples which didn't. There are 2 types of feifel, the more complicated ones you see on 131 at Bovington...

That's about it. Commander is now converted to animatronic. Time now to work on the Pz III and Panther.

Re: Big Panther Latest

Seems like a perfectly good track to play to me. 2.15 minutes of G minor followed by a lot of Herr Gilmour's excellent guitar playing. But I supposed Run Like Hell played very loud when go into battle might scare the hell out of the enemy.

Much as I would like to see that, it clashes with Damyns hall.

Re: tankfest 2013

As Humpy says we have had this argument many times. I can only think of one event where they tried charging us for attending, but soon changed their mind the following year when we didn't go. War and Peace and Tank fest are big money spinners for the organisers and also the shows that the world and ...

Re: More Eurotrash!

Bikes had sound levels strickley enforced, not in the UK. For many years I had Harley Davidsons and a Buell M2. The Harley's had screaming eagle exhaust systems on and they passed MOT's with those on and they are basically just pipe with no sound deadening. The Buell had Vance and Hines race exhaust...
