ASCOT/WINDSOR SHOW 2005

Post by jimcusworth » Mon Nov 08, 2004 8:11 pm

Just recieved the date for next years event.saturday 23rd april at the royal windsor racecource. The show has moved becouse they are rebuilding ascot after pulling down the old grandstands. We have a good sized area of firm rough ground to play on,but the organisers cannot supply any tables.Numbers are not limited, but we will have the same frequencies as last year,so we will have to share them on the day.I have a map and directions, and will send them out nearer the day when we know who is coming.

I have just spoken to peter hicks, the show organiser. The reason the show is on a saturday is that they have racing on mondays, and so they need the sunday to clear up and get ready for it.

Would you mind awfully, if I attended your Royal Show, Mr Cusworth, Sir.
I would deem it a great privilege to be in your esteemed company at Windsor--I'll even dress in the Club colours(GREEN) as a tribute to your prowess.
Cheers

Mel--(I'll be in red actually but in any case, I'm sure he's colour blind)
