Hi,

Just been reading about this. Incredible find. Early G mantlet, but late exhausts and crew heater. Wondering if it is one of the post war REME builds.

Anybody know anything about it? Rivetcounter?

Cheers

Peter

Thanks for the info Mark. In that case I was right, it is a REME build (Gosh, I'm proud of myself for thinking of that!) I didn't realise that it was a "misplaced" one that had re-surfaced, thought and hoped that by some miracle it might have been a new find.

The post war history of some of the armour around is sometimes almost as interesting as their military careers!

Cheers

Peter

This is another link that confirms that the Panther belongs to Herr Flick.
