Blitzkriegarmour Panzer IV - motor question

hi all

Have just bougt a second hand Panzer IV from the vendor Blitskriegarmour, which does not exist anymore

Just wanted to ask if anybody knows if their motors can run on 24v instead of 12v

Steen, I don’t know if they can be run on 24v but the original motors use bevel gears these have a habit of destroying themselves, I take it you wish to increase the speed as they were quite slow models, it may be best to change the motors to a chain drive system which will be more reliable and have more power and speed even on 12v.

its pretty slow and that the reason for the 24v possibility.

I agree to put in the chain drive motors - this could be a winter project

when you go with the chain drive route you will be able to get a quicker speed by changing the sprocket teeth ratios
blitzkrieg panzer IV , mark 1 tiger II
on second thoughts lets not go to Camelot ,it is a silly place

I have heard about one owner that had used the same motores, but changed the layout and mounted the motors across the hull and installed chain drive using the original motors but with chain drive and changed gearing.

Anybody got any pictures of this ?
