My name is Oliver Rauls from Braunschweig in Germany. I am 53 jears old and a great fan of tank models. My favourite scale is 1:16. My tanks are mostly scratch buildings from different Tamiya basics like "Hummel" from a Panzer4, "Büffel" from rhe Leo2 or Leo2A4 from 2A6. Also a "Bergepanther is in my "Werkstatt".

My last projekt is a Challenger CRARRV "Rhino" based on the new Heng Long Tank. Inspirated from the detailed reprot in this forum i think from Rob. The material is Platic and prints in 3D. If there is an interesst i can show also a building report in this forum. In Germany i am Member in "RCPANZER" Forum. My Mail adress is olirauls@web.de

It would be great to discuss also with english "tank man".

Regards from Germany, Braunschweig (City of Henry the Lion)

Oli

Oliver hello and welcome.
CRARRV building is good for the soul, but I only built the basics of the one on here, the detail work is being done by Andy, who I'm sure will be a mine of information should you need it.
I'm sure we would like to see pictures of your builds, if not on here then on the Facebook group ( I find it easier to post pics on there)
I was in Fallingbostel in the early 70s and remember your hometown well.

Welcome to the forum Oliver.

I think most of us on this forum started off or still have 1/16 scale tanks. I'm now more interested 1/6 scale, but would still like to see some photo's of your tanks.

Regards Gary
