Tamiya 1 16th Tanks for sale

Post by David Wiltshire » Fri Sep 23, 2016 7:47 am

Hi, I have a Tamiya King Tiger with metal tracks and full option pack and a Leopard with lights and the full option pack up for sale.
Both have been nicely painted and come in full working order with batteries and control units.
I'll post up some pictures later and if anyone is interested I can bring them along to Tankmod this October.

Are they still for sale? I'm not sure if my earlier response reached you. I only joined today and was rushing.
I am interested. I'd like to know about the smoke/sound units and of course the prices etc. Thanks.

Yes they are still for sale, neither has smoke but both have sound and flash/recoil main guns.

£450 for the Tiger and £550 for the leopard. If you check out the Facebook page for this forum you can see photo's of the two tanks

Unfortunately I don't have facebook. Before I trouble you for pics, where are you? Maybe easier to take a look.

I'm North of Portsmouth in Hampshire. I don't know how to post a picture on this forum I'm afraid

The picture looks nice.
So, you are not far from Mark 1 tanks. I have been in touch with him re a 1/6 Tiger. All singing and dancing, Pyro, the lot. It's c.£4200. I really fancy it, but I'm not sure where I'll put it! I already have 2 motorbikes in my garage. Anyway, I intend to visit when I can. If and when I do, I'll contact you.
Thanks David.

Wow! I just looked at your library. The tanks are great. If the car and bike are yours, we are similar. I have a pristine 2002 vmax and a z4msport.

I have just sold my motorbike collection due to lack of use, I've always liked the V Max a chap I know Jez had one when they first appeared in the country.
Since buying and modifying the VX 220 Turbo and setting it up for track days I find it's really like a four wheel motorbike without the faff and risk so the bikes went.
You are very welcome to pop by and check out the tank.
I hope my Armortek Panzer will be repaired/ready for Tankmod as I'm trying to portray an Operation Cobra theme with camouflage bushes etc plus I'm having Churchill Creations make an animatronic unit where the tank commander and officer operate.

Not sure why that happened, but if you go to Youtube and type in 'Erika, The story of a 1/6 Tiger' you'll see what Churchill can do.

Just thought I'd plug my old advert as I didn't sell either tank and didn't take them to Tankmod. So if anyone is interested in either please get in touch.
