The South West Model & Hobby Exhibition Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd May 2015

Following the success of the 2014 show, The South West Model & Hobby Show returns to the Bath and West Show Ground, Shepton Mallet, on the 2nd & 3rd May 2015.

This show is growing and will have all of its established variety and excitement of 2014, plus additional innovative areas with many new clubs and traders for 2015.

Superb Flying Skills displayed with extensive Outdoor Flying for Fixed Wing, Helicopters, Drones and Jets, plus a large Indoor flying arena. Have a go flying with exciting supervised control line for the novice. Indoor flying simulator.

Boating pools both indoor and out, have a go/try out remote control areas for the novice. Plus interesting extensive static boating displays.

Indoor Hovercraft displays and dynamic demonstrations outside.

All the thrills and spills of great indoor car racing and electric stunt driving, plus exciting outdoor petrol and nitro fuelled models. Have a go car racing with the BCRA.

R/C Ballooning.

Large operating Model Truck Display.

Railway Layouts, Scale Modelling and Engineering.

Traction Engines, Outdoor Steam Railway Rides.

Military Tank Displays.

War Gaming, Sci Fi and Memorabilia, including Daleks and Droids.

Hobbies of the Future, meet the makers, robotics, 3D printing.

Plus Funfair and Kids Activities.

2014 was an exciting show for both visitors and exhibitors. A broad spectrum of models and hobbies were on show, which provided visitors with an interesting and entertaining day out, and gave companies a great weekends trading.

This show displays the amazing talents of many dedicated amateur modellers and engineers with thousands of intricately crafted models in a wide variety of materials and genres, showing the incredible diversity in hobbies and the superb engineering skills together with amazing personal humour and fun that people can incorporate into their models. The show is supported by a both specialist model suppliers and wide variety of diverse traders.
