Andy

Thats for Clansman, CRARRV now like the rest of the fleet is Bowman. Paint number for ammo box is Humbrol no 10. Is the AE base turned inn RP or is it just the look? You will like the Bowman version as it is a big spring, looking for nice clear shot.

Ok, thanks bob.

It's made by me on my Cnc milling machine it's made from model board. Lookup Roland Mdx-20 and that's what I have. I bought it a couple of years ago and only just got it out of storage about a month ago the things been running flat out ever since!

Yeah I think you might be right.

Working on the modern version just now, designed today - milled out sometime tomorrow or tomorrow evening!

More photos soon.

Anybody have an economical method of heating a garage, currently have 2x 3kw heaters running at 6hrs a night, this is going to start to hurt?! Space heaters just seem ott and also means teh fumes go into the garage?!

Gents,

Some pictures of my workshop, my CNC milling machine and some pictures showing teh CRARRV.

I designed the grill for the CRARRV side a couple of days ago and depening if my uncle can help me make 6mm thick sheets of modelboard from 25mm sheet of model board then I'll get the side vents done over the next week or so, that would give the model a dramticly good look!!!

Anyway - Happy New Year.

PS I modeled the Bowman antenna, and milled it tonight, but I made an ar*se of it, so will need to redo it tomorrow.......

Note the ammo box colour is pretty good, tamiya NATO brown seems a pretty good match, I reckon some gloss varnish will give it the shine it needs!

Andy,

I like your workshop, makes my pokey little old shed look like, well, a pokey little old shed in comparison! Your workshop looks like it could be a little warmer than my shed as well :( Not good this time of year!

Humpy, Howoften do you sit out in the shed. I bet you spend more time in Uckfield. Any my workshop is big enough for 3 tanks, mill, lathe and my Harley. Sweet.

Garry,

I'll have you know I was out in my little old shed Christmas morning labouring away with my soldering iron! Even Howard's workshop was flippin' freezing the other day when I dropped in and he had an electric fire going :D I think I'll have to sort out some of the cr*p in my den so I can wire up my panels in comfort!
