Tiger1 cooling system

Post by magpies » Sat Apr 17, 2010 8:36 am

We are currently detailing the engine compartment of a Tiger1, I have some nice photos of the engine bay etc but I am struggling with the water pipe routes/connections, there are more than 90 hose clips/connectors and joints all over the place on the real thing ,I am only concerned with the basics like the radiators and how they are linked together and then connected to the water pump/engine hoses along with the smaller hoses which are connected to the cylinder heads.I am using 8mm end feed copper pipe work which consists of mainly dry fit connection so that the engine can be removed relatively easily for photographic work, the smaller pipes are 4/5mm plastic modelling tubeing.
If anybody has any advise, technical drawings or photos that would help it would be much appreciated cheers Phil
