Benadini question

Post by rivetcounter » Thu May 20, 2010 7:05 pm

I have the Futaba 7c 2.4g radio and I’m thinking of using the V-tail feature this is the simple part, what I would like to know is will if I use the V-tail feature will it cause any problems with the Benadini sound unit

I take it that this is to get "single stick" control of motion ?

In which case I can't see it being a problem for the Benedini - as far as it sees, the RC signals at the receiver won't be any different.

Adrian.

Adrian, you are correct in your assumption it would be for single stick control, thanks for the information.
Has anyone had first hand experience.

Hi All

Humpy is right, (He is sometimes :D ) but mine is done via the 4QD DMR-203 interface board which has a jumper for single or twin stick operation. So no need to mess around with the transmitter.

I would have thought as long as the on board mixing in the transmitter doesn't alter channel 6 you should be okay.

One other thing I have done is set CH6 travel to max at 140%, then reassign the sounds. It gives better separation between selections. I found that some selections were operating the next or previous sound.

Hope this helps.

Mick
