sound boards

Post by herman the german » Sun Nov 13, 2016 6:56 pm

Hi.
I am new to 1/6th scale tanks. but have done 1/16th sale and r.c boating.
I have purchased the running shell for the stuart tank and I am searching for a suitable sound board for it.
Any ideas guys ?
any help would be welcome.
cheers John W.

Personally, I feel the sound boards like the Tamiya used in 1/16th tanks tend to sound quite toy like, with a noticeable repeat on the engine sounds.

I like the Benedini TBS Mini. It runs off 5V to 12V, and can be programmed with Thomas's software, so can be made to do pretty much anything.

There's also a company, in Canada I think, which makes a sound card very similar to the Benedini one. I've never used one but from the videos on YouTube, the sound quality is very good.

Adrian.
